Emotional Culture Index

Genos is a world leader in the development of instruments that support the understanding of EI.   Genos was formed in August 2002 by Swinburne University to bring to the market the first Australian model and measure of emotional intelligence developed by Dr Ben Palmer and Professor Con Stough.  Since this time, Genos has grown into an integrated product and service firm now operating in Australia and the UK, with an extensive partner network offering Genos assessments and programs across North America, South America, Europe, India, China, South Africa, South East Asia and New Zealand.
The Emotional Culture Index is the go to tool for leaders to understand the emotional climate of their organisation and commence developing pathways to a more EI engaging workplace measuring three dimensions of emotions at work
Current emotions
How often your people experience certain feelings at work
Fair and reasonable emotions
How often your people think it’s fair and reasonable to experience these feelings at work given the nature and context of your workplace
Ideal emotions
How often your people think they should ideally experience these feelings in your workplace in order to be effective

Members of your organisation completed a 5 minute online survey to provide their feedback on the organisation’s emotional climate.  This enables easy deployment across an organisation of any size.
A visual index report displays the levels of positive and negative emotions staff are experiencing.  These results are provided to leadership in a 30 minute debrief.

Currently there is no charge for deployment of the ECI across up to 20 respondents and a 30 minute management debrief.
